The Massive Data Institute at Georgetown’s McCourt School of Public Policy recently hosted a Green Space Data Challenge, which provided participants with an opportunity to create or improve indicators involving green space to better understand and measure community impact. Each project was evaluated by expert judges from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), USDA-Forest Service, Urban Health Collaborative at Drexel University, and the Spatial Analysis Lab at the University of Vermont. Winning efforts will be announced in late March and will share their work with APDU on April 17, 2023 at 3:00pm ET.

Join this APDU webinar to learn more from the winners about their projects, ideas, and hopes for improving community well-being through examining the effects of green space on community health, community safety, specific populations, and physical environment.
