Abstract:
This session will be a joint presentation by the Census Bureau and a panel from the National Academy of Sciences (NAS). The Census Bureau representatives will provide an overview of the first year of the full implementation of the American Community Survey (ACS). They will provide updates on operational issues and products from the ACS. The NAS presentation will provide highlights of the work of the panel on the functionality and usability of statistics from the ACS. The focus will be on how users can make the most effective use of the ACS.
