Moderator and Session Organizer:Linda Jacobsen Abstract:The purpose of this session is to identify the major policy issues surrounding the increased use of administrative records, especially as they relate to recent legislation, privacy, and confidentiality concerns. Specifically, it will discuss the recent legislation and guidance that federal agencies must comply with, provide an example of how the Census Bureau meets this at the policy level, discuss the respective goals for the Census Bureau's administrative records efforts with respect to censuses, and finally explain how the Census Bureau will share this work with the public.
